Buying real estate in Mexico is a transparent and secure process. Transactions are completed by a notary, who registers the transfer of ownership. The agency commission is paid by the seller and is already included in the property price. Foreigners can own property near the sea through a trust (fideicomiso) registered with a Mexican bank.
